I cancelled my netflix account. For those who know me: netflix is still very much on the blu ray player in the living room… in no way do I pay for that.

i love that
after an entire summer of no word from my advisers or boss at school I get flooded with urgent emails that I HAVE to respond to yesterday. I may not have my job back because they emailed me urgently with a time I had to re-apply for the 3rd time this summer, the time being today. I have no problem not checking my emails for a week if you haven’t all summer. Thank you for being useless.

Things I Did This Weekend:
-met a heavenly host of glorious people at Greg’s going away party
-got a hilarious bracelet at said party that says “Dick Day” on it
-read the book Wicked by Gregory Maguire
-got my hair cut
-saw my brother and sister(in law)
-felt fully rested by 9am, but slept until 11 anyway
-made soup
-tomorrow I will hopefully start Son Of A Witch

And talking about God. They are sooooo back woods it’s painful. They made us pray for dinner twice, chastised me for reading Wicked, have been talking about abortion for an hour, and said they love Michele Bachman. I want them to leave so badly it hurts. I would tell them to leave myself but they’d never let me see my nephew if I did.

i looked up my favorite band
from when i was a child, Sixpence None The Richer, and I think I found one person who posted anything other than the song Kiss Me. It’s a great song and a huge accomplishment for them, but it is by far not their best.
